Tune is a passive inductive harmonic filter installed in parallel on the neutral bus. It consumes no power. It has no moving parts and no settings. About 10% kWh reduction is the commercial planning figure. Results vary. We measure.
The operating-cost problem
Non-linear loads — VFDs, LED, HVAC electronics, conveyors, pumps, blowers, POS — distort the waveform. Ownership pays for that as extra kilowatt-hours, heat on neutrals and transformers, nuisance trips, and shorter equipment life.
Engineers can validate power quality. The person who owns the electric bill feels it every month.
